Our Story
Born on Christmas Day. Led by the Holy Spirit. Built for a Purpose.
Our story began on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, with a simple but powerful desire: to see people experience the life that Jesus came to give.
What began as a step of faith was birthed through prayer and a deep conviction that the Holy Spirit was leading us to reach the Indian diaspora in Central Texas. As the Indian community continues to grow across the Austin area, we sensed God calling us to build a church where people could worship Jesus while also celebrating the richness of their language, culture, and heritage.
We believe the church is more than a building or a Sunday gathering. It is a family—a place where people can encounter God, build meaningful relationships, grow in His Word, discover their purpose, and become everything God has called them to be.
From the beginning, our heart has been to be a multi-language Indian church where people from different regions, backgrounds, and generations can come together as one family in Christ. We believe our diversity is not something that divides us, but something God can use to display His glory.
Following the Leading of the Holy Spirit
Through prayer, the Word of God, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God began placing a burden on our hearts for the Indian community. We saw an opportunity to reach families who were far from home, young people navigating different cultures, and people searching for a spiritual home where they could belong.
We stepped forward in faith, trusting that God would lead every step of the journey.
Since that first Christmas gathering in 2021, God has continued to open doors, bring people together, and expand the vision He placed in our hearts. What started with a small beginning has grown into a diverse church family serving people from different languages, cultures, and generations.
Our Heart for the Indian Diaspora
India is home to hundreds of languages, cultures, traditions, and communities. When people from India move around the world, they carry that incredible diversity with them.
Our desire is to reach the Indian diaspora with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, creating a place where people can feel at home while encountering the living God.
Whether you speak English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, or another language, whether you grew up in India or were born here in America, there is a place for you at Jeevan.
We believe God has brought us together for such a time as this—to be a light in our community and to share the hope, love, and life found in Jesus.

Our prayer is that Jeevan Church will continue to be a place where:

People discover their God-given purpose.
Our story is still being written.
We look forward with faith and expectation, knowing that the same Holy Spirit who led us to begin this journey will continue to lead us into everything God has prepared for Jeevan Church.
